This week has been practice for the Federation TOC tournament. 150 of the best amateur anglers in the state will be on the Mississippi Thursday and Friday to battle for a place to represent Minnesota at the regional. Winners there can go on for a chance to fish at the Bassmaster Classic. I drove down to Wabasha Minnesota last Saturday and would spend the next four days practicing for the tournament. Practice was tough and not just for me. Dock talk was that the bite was slow and a limit both days would probably put you in the top half.
